Hong Kong’s First Five-Year Plan: Policy Address expected to drive sustainable and high-quality economic growth

Commercial Managing Partner Hannah Ha was quoted in various media reports on the Hong Kong SAR Government’s first Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).

She described the Plan as an important step towards a more strategic and long-term approach to Hong Kong’s development, highlighting its focus on strengthening Hong Kong’s role as the “Four Centres and One Hub”, promoting innovation and financial development, and enhancing legal and professional services. Hannah also noted that Hong Kong’s unique advantages under the “One Country, Two Systems” framework, together with its internationally recognised common law system, remain key drivers of the city’s competitiveness and future growth.
