Experience

  • Advised and represented gaming entities and financial institutions in debt recovery and insolvency litigation, including enforcement proceedings and applications for injunctive relief.
  • Advised and represented real estate developers and landlords in tenancy disputes including and relating to recovery of possession of leased premises through distraint action and other enforcement proceedings.
  • Advised and represented banking institutions in their capacity as corporate trustee of USD bonds in winding-up proceedings against bond issuers in Hong Kong courts.
  • Advised financial institutions in regulatory investigations conducted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority concerning misconduct by employees and alleged breaches of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance.
  • Advised and represented multinational corporations and private individuals in recovering fraudulent transfer of funds through liaising with the Hong Kong police and commencement of legal proceedings.
