Johnson Stokes & Master (JSM) advised JD.com on its HK$750 million acquisition of the Silka Seaview Student Accommodation Project from Dorsett Hospitality International, a subsidiary of Far East Consortium, which recently completed on 17 July 2026.
The property is being repositioned as student accommodation, and will continue to be managed and operated by Dorsett Hospitality International under a post-completion management arrangement for an initial term of 3 years.
JSM is pleased to have supported JD.com’s first investment into the student accommodation sector. This also reflects JSM’s ongoing involvement and expertise in similar student accommodation conversion mandates.
